Except as where otherwise specifically provided, any person, firm or corporation, their agents or servants, who shall violate any of the provisions of the Vancouver Municipal Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months, or by both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
