A. Anyone intending to conduct a non-exempt construction activity in the right of way must apply for a permit.

B. Every application must include:

1. A complete and signed application on a form to be provided by the City for a construction in the right of way permit;

2. Plans, consisting of:

a. A description of the work to be covered by the permit; and

b. A description of the location where work is to be done by street, lot, block, or address; and

c. A scale drawing of the proposed work, if appropriate for the type of work proposed.

3. The estimated valuation of the proposed work;

4. Proof of liability insurance and a bond adequate to cover the work proposed as required by Section 11.60.170;

5. If available, any preliminary planning and/or engineering approval granted by the City;

6. A traffic control plan as required by Chapter 11.30, if required;

7. A City business license; and

8. Other relevant information as may be required by the City.

The Director may reduce the application requirements for a homeowner submitting an application for a sidewalk repair to be constructed by the homeowner and not by a contractor hired by the homeowner. (Ord. M-4026 §11, 2012)
