Low impact development, also known as on-site stormwater management, principles, and best management practices are required in all types of development situations to minimize impervious surfaces, soil compaction, native vegetation loss and stormwater runoff unless there is a conflict with competing needs or determined to be infeasible by an appropriate professional as specified in the Permit and Stormwater Manual.
