No person shall, while operating or in charge of a watercraft, refuse to permit a peace officer or fire officer to make an examination of any equipment of such watercraft required by law. A person convicted of violating this section shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars and/or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety days. (Ord. M-3104 §16, 1993)
