a. Underwater diving is prohibited unless the diver is within two hundred feet of a properly displayed diver's flag as required by federal law.

b. It is unlawful to operate a watercraft in excess of idle-speed within two hundred feet of a diver's flag.

c. It is unlawful to interfere with navigation while underwater diving.

d. A person convicted of violating this section shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars and/or imprisonment not to exceed thirty days. (Ord. M-3104 §24, 1993)
