The director of Vancouver/Clark Parks and Recreation may revoke any permit issued under this chapter if he or she finds it necessary to do so to protect the public health and safety or if the permittee has violated Section 15.08.080 hereof or any terms or conditions of such permit. Any such revocation, or any denial of a permit, may be appealed to the city council by written notice to the city clerk within ten days of such action. The council shall consider such revocation or denial and shall hear from the permittee/applicant or his or her attorney and from city staff, and then shall make its decision based upon the evidence and the criteria of this chapter, and its action shall be final. The permittee shall not conduct business pending the hearing of such an appeal. (Ord. M-2480 §9, 1984)
