A. Nominations to the National Register of Historic Places shall be reviewed by the historic preservation commission using criteria established in the Code of Federal Regulations (36 CFR 60).

B. The commission shall hold a duly advertised public hearing at a regularly scheduled meeting at which the applicable criteria are reviewed and a recommendation forwarded to the State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) within 60 days of the date of application.
