19.13.030 Violations – Pay stations.
A. It shall be a violation of this chapter to fail to obey the instructions for use of any parking pay station, including, but not limited to:
1. Overtime Parking. Parking in any area, regulated by signage, parking meter or parking pay station, for longer than allowed by the applicable limit; and
2. Expired Proof of Payment. Displaying expired proof of payment on any vehicle parked in a parking space, regulated by a parking meter or parking pay station; and
3. No Proof of Payment. Failing to properly display proof of payment on any vehicle parked in a parking space, regulated by a parking meter or parking pay station.
B. Classification of Infraction. Every violation of this chapter constitutes an infraction.
C. Notice of infraction. A notice of infraction for a violation of this chapter shall be issued and processed according to the procedures contained in chapter 19.13, Parking Violations.
D. Use of Fines. All fines collected, pursuant to this chapter, shall be deposited and used according to the limitations contained in section 19.04.080, Parking operations funds. (Ord. M-4088 § 1, 2014)
