Boundaries of associations will be defined by the association membership with assistance from city staff and may not overlap other city neighborhood association boundaries. Boundary changes may occur after residents in the affected area are given notice and the opportunity to vote as prescribed by the neighborhood association's bylaws. The Office of Neighborhoods must be notified about any changes to neighborhood boundaries in writing within a reasonable time period. City council and relevant city departments will be made aware of neighborhood boundary changes by the Office of Neighborhoods. (Ord. M-3696 §1, 2005)
