A. The Commission may propose to the City Council that its Charter be amended by resolution of its board passed by a procedure outlined in its Charter at a regular or special meeting of which 15 days’ advance written notice was given to Commission members.

B. The Charter may be amended only by ordinance of the City Council. A Charter amendment proposed by the Commission shall take effect and become a part of the Charter upon approval by the City Council and issuance of a revised Charter by the City Clerk.
