3.08.040 Vacation fee.
This section is included in your selections.
All petitions for street vacations shall be accompanied by cash or check in accordance with the following schedule based upon the size of area proposed to be vacated:
Size of Area | Fee |

0 to 4,000 square feet | $150.00 |
4,000 to 10,000 square feet | $250.00 |
In excess of 10,000 square feet | $500.00 |
This fee is nonrefundable and shall be paid by petitioners to defray cost of processing, appraising, surveying, and of posting the necessary documents as provided by law. Such fee shall be in addition to any lawful charge which the city council chooses to make for the vacation itself under RCW 35.79.030. (Ord. M-1993 §1, 1979: Ord. M-1886 §1, 1978: Ord. M-77 §2, 1953)
