3.12.168 Landscape commission fund--Donations--Contracts.
In addition to the responsibilities vested in it by Resolution M-1027, the city landscape commission is hereby authorized to:
1. Accept donations to the fund hereby established under such terms and conditions as it may deem advisable, and to refund any such donations if the circumstances require.
2. Execute contracts and agreements for:
a. The development of specific plans to improve and beautify those areas of the city designated by the city council in Section 2 of Resolution M-1027, or which may hereafter be so designated by the council, and
b. The carrying out and implementing of such specific plans after they have been approved by the city council, provided however, that the city landscape commission may, with the approval of the director of public works, modify the details of any such plans if deemed advisable.
No such contracts or agreements so executed shall exceed amounts which may be then available in the fund nor shall any such contracts or agreements so executed be a general obligation of the city of Vancouver. (Ord. M-786 §3, 1965)
