Moneys in such fund shall be used for the trip or Vancouver/Clark Parks and Recreation's other activities paid for by the participating adults, together with actual costs of providing services for the senior adult activities; provided, any excess moneys left in the senior activity fund after completion of such trip or activity may be used by the department of for other proper senior adult purposes approved by it, such as song fests, birthday buses, and other regular activities especially designed for senior adults, and it shall from time to time secure recommendations in such connection from the senior advisory council.
