5.18.150 Sound amplifying equipment regulations.
All sound amplifying equipment and all other equipment used in conjunction with any amusement activity regulated herein shall comply with the following regulations:
a. No sounds may be amplified except music and human speech and no obscene language will be permitted;
b. The volume of sound, including sound from any generating facility shall be controlled so that it does not create more than seventy decibels of sound (d.b.A) as measured by a standard A.S. scale sound meter located in any residentially zoned property, and after ten p.m. such sound as so measured shall not exceed sixty decibels of sound (d.b.A.);
c. Any sound truck used to advertise any amusement activity regulated shall comply with the requirements and regulations of Chapter 5.70. (Ord. M-1422 §15, 1973)
