It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep or carry on what are called junk shops or conduct junk wagons or business in junk or either in the city of Vancouver, for the purpose and sale of junk without first taking out and procuring a license to do so, to be known as a junk shop license or a junk wagon license. The fee for a junk shop license, the same being a license to conduct a business in junk, shall be the sum of fifty dollars per year, and no license shall be issued for a period less than one year. The fee for a junk wagon license shall be in the sum of twenty-five dollars per year for each wagon, automobile, car or vehicle propelled by any means, and no licenses shall be issued for a period less than one year. Every junk license shall specify the exact location where such business shall be carried on. (Ord. 1211, 1923; Ord. 951 §1, 1917)
