Licensees may collect recyclable materials only by the use of vehicles which are properly covered to prevent littering. Each such vehicle shall prominently display the name of the licensee in letters at least three inches high and shall contain a sticker or other identification issued by the director of public works or his or her designate to show that it is properly licensed. All such vehicles shall be kept in a sanitary condition, inside and out, while being so used. No person shall litter any material and all persons shall pick up any material they have spilled.

Obtaining a license or registration pursuant to this section shall not waive or satisfy the person’s obligation to obtain any other applicable city licenses or permits or to comply with any other local, state or federal ordinance, statute or regulation. (Ord. M-3207 §6, 1995)
