The application for a kennel, grooming parlor, pet shop, or dog day care license shall be accompanied by a fee as follows:

Kennel, $200.00 for facilities housing 0 to 75 animals, and $350.00 for facilities housing 75 to 175 animals. Facilities that do not pass first or second inspections are required to pay a reinspection fee of $150.00 per inspection until the facility passes;

Grooming parlor, $100.00;

Pet shop, $150.00;

Dog day care, $150.00;

Transfer of current license to new owner, $15.00.

The fee for any combination establishment shall not exceed $250.00. A penalty fee of 50 percent of the license fee shall be assessed if the license is not applied for within 30 days of commencement of operation or the license renewal date. Payment of this penalty shall not preclude the imposition of any additional penalties prescribed in this chapter.
