The traffic engineer may establish theater zones along the curb in any street adjacent to the entrances and exits of theaters for the purpose of facilitating the loading and unloading of persons, preventing double parking, providing a greater measure of safety in case of fire, and eliminating other hazards and impediments to traffic. The traffic engineer may also establish the hours of use and other special regulations for such theater zones and provide for the posting of notice thereof. In the absence of signs, the general provisions of this title shall govern the use of such theater zones. (Ord. M-3276 §11, 1996: Ord. C-184 §91(A), 1948)
