A. Authorization. Any person who has been issued a construction zone permit under Section 9.68.120 shall be allowed to park his/her vehicle being used in connection with his/her construction or maintenance work in any generally authorized parking space in any street outside the parking meter zone, without regard to time limitations on general parking at such place, upon the condition that such permittee shall openly display on or in such vehicle an official construction zone hood.

B. Permit Required. Before any person shall block off any parking space or spaces along the curb outside a parking meter zone, he/she shall obtain a construction zone permit issued under the provisions of Section 9.68.120. (Ord. M-3276 §13, 1996: Ord. C-184 §93, 1948)
