As required by RCW Chapter 19.27, the City of Vancouver hereby adopts by reference Washington State’s currently adopted International Building Code (IBC) and appendices I and J (not including IBC Section J103.2, Exemption 1) and M (International Existing Building Code) as published by the International Code Council, and as adopted and amended by RCW Chapter 19.27, WAC Chapter 51-50, and the provisions of this chapter. The IBC, as adopted and amended in this chapter, shall be the City of Vancouver’s building code. The City of Vancouver does not adopt IBC Chapter 1. VMC Chapter 17.08 shall provide the administrative provisions for the IBC, and enforcement of the IBC shall be governed by Title 22 of the VMC. (Ord. M-4165 §9, 2016; Ord. M-4052 §12, 2013; Ord.
