Pursuant to Article XI, Section 11 of the state constitution, RCW 36.22.280, RCW 35.63.130 and 58.17.330, the office of the City of Vancouver hearing examiner is created. The Vancouver Municipal Code may refer to the office of the City of Vancouver hearing examiner as a "hearing examiner," "hearings examiner," or "examiner." The examiner shall interpret, review and implement land use or other regulations and policies as provided in this chapter or by other ordinances, including the enforcement provisions of VMC Title 22.
