Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the city jail for not more than thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
