A. The director shall administer the department.

B. The director shall have the positions and titles of building official and zoning administrator, provided however, that either or both of these positions and titles may be delegated by the director to other members of the department.

C. The director shall perform such other lawful acts and functions as he or she shall deem necessary or desirable in order to enforce the provisions of this chapter, or as necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by the city manager. (Ord. M-2816 §3, 1989)
