Criteria for antenna removal. Any antenna or wireless communications support structure that is not operated for wireless communications for a continuous period of 12 months, shall be removed by the owner of the property on which the support structure or antenna is situated, or by the owner or lessee of the support structure or antenna within 90 days of receipt of notice to remove from the city. If the antenna and/or support structure is not removed within said 90 days, the city may remove the antenna or support structure at the owner’s expense. If there are two or more wireless communications providers collocated on a single support structure, this provision shall not become effective until all providers cease using the wireless communication facility for a continuous period of 12 months.
