The Director of Financial and Administrative Services shall without further City Council Authorization under VMC 3.26.010 cancel or write off debts or obligations due and owing the city insofar as they are discharged as a result of a valid order entered by a federal bankruptcy court as authorized under 11 USCA §524 as now or hereafter amended.
