The license fee which shall be charged for each such license shall be the sum of twenty-five dollars per year and shall be assessed on a calendar year basis. The fee, however, from January 1st to July 1st, or any part of said period, shall be sixty percent of the annual license fee, and provided a quarterly license may be issued on payment of a fee of ten dollars.
