It shall be the duty of all officers and employees of the city to aid in all proper ways of carrying out the provisions of this chapter, and such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the commission hereunder. The commission shall have access to all books, papers, documents and accounts applying or in any way concerning the offices, places, positions and employments subject to civil service. Officers and employees shall attend and testify, whenever required so to do by the commission or any commissioners. The staff assigned by or to the commission shall cooperate with and be subject to supervision of director of Financial and Management Services. (Ord. M-2768 §3 (part), 1988)
